My kindle TBR list is currently at over 300 books and that doesn’t include my physical book list. I’m happy to see Becky Doughty’s latest on your list as she is also a favorite of mine.

Sweetbriar Cottage is definitely on my TBR stack! I am also anxiously awaiting a copy of Convicted by Jameel Mcgee & Andrew Collins. I am on the launch team for this book, so I am super excited about that!

Some of my top ones that are Christian fiction are “Loving Luther” and “12 Days at Bleakly Manor” by Michelle Griep. I loved “Jane of Austin” and “The Captain’s Daughter!”

Wow! Thank you so much for including Ruby City in your list! I hope you enjoy the story. There are some fabulous books on that list–a few of which are on my tottering TBR pile too.

  15. // Reply

WOW! So many great reads! I have read My Unexpected Hope and Close to You. The others are on my wish list or TBR! Just finished all my belongings by Cynthia Ruchti and haven’t decided where to go next. 😔 I have read a number of Denise’s books but not Sweetbriar Cottage and would love to win a copy. Thanks for the chance.

I highly recommend A Fragile Hope by Cynthia Ruchti. She writes so beautifully on difficult subjects. This one is quite emotional to read but one to savor. I’ve read a couple of her other books too and they were excellent.

My tbr list is very VERY long! So I’ll just give you my tbrs (to-be-read-soon) list. I’ve got a shelf dedicated specifically to holding books on this list until they’ve been read. Here’s what I’ve got on there at the moment:
A Spy’s Devotion (which I’ve read before) and A Viscount’s Proposal by Melanie Dickerson, The Elusive Miss Ellison and The Captivating Lady Charlotte by Carolyn Miller, and Mary, Chosen of God by Diana Wallis Taylor (I’m in the middle of this one right now.)
    Elly -Indiana-

Oh, I have a tbrs shelf too (I call it my tbr-asap but tbrs is better!) That’s a great list!

Beth, thank you! I’m so glad High As The Heavens made the tippy top ten on your TBR list along with these other scrumptious reads! I’ve already got several of these titles in my library and can’t wait to start reading. Enjoy the dilemma of too many books! 😀

    1. // Reply

Making it to the tippy top is no small feat and the temptations, oh! Happy reading, Kate! Thank you for stopping by!

I just have taken My Heart Belongs on Mackinac Island: Maude’s Mooring by Carrie Fancett Pagels off the top of my TBR pile. RW620ATaolDOTcom

My TBR is in tubs by genre. Tomorrow I’ll read “Valley of Decision” by Lynne Gentry. Shades of Surrender by Lynne Gentry is on my Kindle. Then I will have finished The Carthage Chronicles.

I recently won High as the Heavens by Kate Breslin. Hope to read it soon. 🙂

Here are my next five (unless something else comes along to trump one of these):
Bad Girls of the Bible by Liz Curtis Higgs, for book club next week
A Note Yet Unsung by Tamera Alexander
    Burning Sky by Lori Benton
An Elegant Facade by Kristi Ann Hunter
A Uncommon Courtship by Kristi Ann Hunter

  22. // Reply

I have lots but right now am reading A Name Unknown by Roseanna White and The Mark of the King by Jocelyn Green. I also need to read A Note Yet Unsung by Tammy Alexander and two by Lori Benton. Also Sarah Sundin’s and Tricia Goyer’s and Carolyn Miller’s two.

Most of the books on the top of your list are the ones on mine although there were a couple that I had not been introduced to. High As The Heavens and Heart On The Line are two that I have read a lot of great reviews about. There are a lot of great books right now that makes it hard to decide which to read first. Thanks for the giveaway.

Just finally started True to You by Becky Wade. At the top of my list is The Warrior’s Seal by Ronie Kendig (and a few more authors attending CFRR that I’d like to check out), Then There Was You by Kara Isaac, Always by Jenn Faulk, and Engaged in Trouble by Jenny B. Jones. Those are all books I have, and that is just the very top of the pile! That list doesn’t include books I haven’t yet purchased like Sweetbriar Cottage by Denise Hunter, Chasing Secrets by Lynette Eason, the rest of the Walker Family series by Melissa Tagg and so many more!

  25. // Reply

I just received a copy of Sweetbriar Cottage also. Other than that I am waiting for Tamera Alexander’s latest release!

These are books I have already and are like maybe one percent of my pile. haha I also want to read Sweetbriar Cottage by Denise Hunter, Chasing Secrets by Lynette Eason, the rest of the Walker Family series by Melissa Tagg, and so many more books that I don’t own yet. And then there are all the books coming out in the next few months…

I’m guilty of having a big book stack, too. The problem is that I read certain books depending on my mood — so I might buy it today, but not read it for 2 years. Much to my husband’s disdain!!! One book that I really want to read from my shelf is The Crucible.

It’s important to read a book only when you are in the right frame of mind and have built up a sense of anticipation.;)

Sweetbriar Cottage and Heart on the Line are two books that I am really looking forward to reading! I also am looking forward to Lynette Eason’s Chasing Secrets!

I just finished Words in Deep Blue. It’s SO not Christian fiction, but the story is beautiful, sad, and wonderful. Next up hopefully is The Case of the Clobbered Cad! I’m so excited to read a full-length novel by Debra E. Marvin, and a mystery at that!

I have a ginormous pile, but I’m sitting here with a broken wrist, so I’m reading books I’ve downloaded on my kindle. It’s easier to handle a kindle with a sad wrist. 🙂
