what a fantastic first line! I love this series! My first line at the moment is from Mattie’s Pledge by Jan Drexler – “Mattie.” Yep. LOL. that’s the first line 😉

The body was lying on the swing on the back deck, the wooden seat swaying slowly back and forth. (I just won this on Goodreads, and it arrived yesterday lol. It’s a cozy mystery called Paws and Effect by Sofie Kelly.)
