First Line Friday

Let’s have some First Line Friday FUN!!!

Bleu Streak Summer by T.I. Lowe

A Bleu Streak Summer by T.I. Lowe

“The May afternoon lazily swept by with the Bleu family paying it no mind.”

Ahhhh, doesn’t that cover and first line just put you at ease? I feel the tension and stress unwinding! This is a day for our family to recharge, hubby is whisking us away to enjoy the great outdoors.

Meanwhile, you can hop over to my review of book 2, A Bleu Streak Christmas, then post your first line! I’ll check in this evening to see y’all!

So, open the book nearest to you and post the first line in a comment below!

Then go see what these First Line Ladies are up to:

  3. “This week I will die, but I’ve never been happier.” from Death Brings Life on the High Seas by Darlene Turner. I’m reading her book on Christian Life in London http://www.clil.ca/index.cfm?sel_cont=news&nws_id=12

I also have Caryl McAdoo’s book Vow Unbroken in front of me: “He took the pinch of cotton Sue offered and rubbed it between his short, pudgy fingers.”

  4. This is a book I’m especially excited to start (but I think I say that about all my books, lol)! First line is from “A Heart Most Certain” by Melissa Jaegers, coming August 2nd!!

“Lydia King took a tentative step into Mr. Lowe’s hazy office, feeling like Bob Cratchit approaching Scrooge.”

Oh I so can’t wait to start this! ????:-)
