Howdy, reader friends and happy November to all y’all!
We have officially wrapped up our first month over at Hoarding Books and I’m itching to know what my readers think about the new setup.
Do y’all hop around to some of the other FLF posts? ALL of them? Is the system working for you?
Share your thoughts about the Hoarding Books blog and please feel free to ask any questions you might have!
Christy by Catherine Marshall
“On that November afternoon when I first saw Cutter Gap, the crumbling chimney of Alice Henderson’s cabin stood stark against the sky, blackened by the flames that had consumed the house.“
Confession… I didn’t even have a book picked out for this week until just now. I noticed that I’ve had a few contemporary titles in a row so went to my shelf for a historical and WHAMO! This big beauty caught my eye!
Since this year’s gala and presentation of The Christy Awards is Wednesday and the first line happens to be set in the current month, it seems the stars have aligned and all is right and good in my little bookish world. It doesn’t take much to make me happy. 😉
